1. What does 99,5% uptime guarantee mean?

It means that we guarantee the service is on and reachable 99,5% of the contract time not counting scheduled maintenance. This include the server, network and application. Scheduled service is any maintenance break that we provide minimum of 2 hours prior notice. If we can’t for some reason meet this promise we’ll credit 1 full day of service per hour of down time.

2. What kind of backups you do?

All PHP web hosting, email and shared Liferay plans include free automatic backup. This backup however does not replace your own backups but rather is incase of server failure so that we restore the service. We don’t offer restoration of individual files. For virtual servers we offer backup space where you can make your own backup.

3. Do you monitor the services?

We have automatic 24/7 monitoring for all of the servers and network. We monitor the health of the system by monitoring CPU, Memory, IO, Network and HDD usage and send alerts in case anything goes beyond set threshold. For Liferay we also monitor threads, heap usage and http response time. For our VPS plans we monitor the server uptime only. For our VPS plans we can add service monitoring with alerts to your designated contact for a small monthly fee.

4. What if I go over traffic quota?

Don’t fret about it. For most websites the limits we’ve set are more than enough, only if you are serving large files you might go over it. Occasional over usage is fine and we won’t punish you for it but if we see a constant over usage or very large over usage we might ask you to purchase more bandwidth. In case you don’t want more bandwidth we might throttle the speed to your site or in extreme cases close it for remainder of the month.

5. What if I go over storage quota?

For PHP, Email and VPS plans the quota is enforced and you can’t go over it. For shared Liferay we don’t currently enforce the quota but we do monitor the storage usage. Temporary over usage is fine and not punished but for long term we would ask you to upgrade to the next tier or purchase more storage if you are already on Pro.

6. What does 30 day satisfaction guarantee mean?

If you are not satisfied with our service you can cancel within 30 days. This does not include domain names as they will stay as the property of the customer.

7. Can I use CloudFlare CDN with your service?

Yes, CloudFlare works with our shared and vps hosting plans. If you want to use CloudFlare on your site just opt your own DNS when ordering and then follow instructions of CloudFlare website. We’ll provide you with the IP address or CNAME you need to create a record on CloudFlare.

8. Do I get cPanel, Plesk or some other hosting control panel?

Currently we don’t provide any hosting control panel. We have web based management UI for email accounts and address as well as one for DNS. Once the account is activated you’ll get SSH and SFTP access to the server.
